Fosroc Reebol provides critical barrier between mould and cementitious media facilitating easy separation without stains and reduced blow holes.

Advantages
  • Ensures easy release, good fair-faced concrete with reduced blow holes
  • Can be used on all types of formwork like wood, aluminium, steel etc.
  • Minimises surface blemishes and staining
  • Minimises cleaning of shutters before re-use
  • Reduces opportunity of damage to formwork, extending usable life.
  • Environmental friendly - Non-hazardous, having flash point >160 deg C

Description
  • Reebol is specially formulated blend of mineral oils and chemicals having release properties which are superior to those of a conventional mould oil. The chemicals react with the alkali in the concrete to form a thin water repellent skin on the surface of the mould, thereby enabling easy striping from concrete and acting as a protection to steel, aluminium and wooden formwork. Reebol is supplied as Golden Yellow coloured liquid ready for direct application and use.

Coverage
  • A coverage between 20 to 60m2 per litre is possible depending upon the porosity and texture of mould surface.

Precautions
Health & safety instructions
  • Gloves should be worn when handling Reebol. Splashes on the skin should be removed with soap and water. Contact with eyes must be avoided and accidental contamination should be washed thoroughly with plenty of water and medical treatment sought immediately. Good ventilation should be ensured and smoking during use is prohibited.

Application instructions
Preparation of new moulds
  • No preparation is necessary, but if extensive reuse of timber mould is envisaged, it is advisable to protect all new surfaces with Reebol. Reebol protects timber from alkali attack which can result in a very short usable life. For used moulds, all traces of cement must be removed together with any surface deposit of previous oils.

Coating
  • Reebol can be applied by brush, sponge or conventional mould oil-sprayer. If a mould oil-sprayer is used, care should be taken to ensure that the correct nozzle size is chosen. Stir the contents of the container thoroughly before use. Apply one coat of Reebol thinly and evenly over the entire surface. Only the thinnest coating necessary to achieve effective coverage should be applied. Excess application is uneconomical and may lead to surface dusting.

Approx. Price: Rs 80 / LitreGet Latest Price

Product Details:

Specific Gravity1 to 1.01 g/cc
Minimum Application Temperature10 deg C
Packaging SizeConcure WB is available in 5,20 and 200 litre drums.
Packaging TypeDrum

Uses

For spraying on freshly cast concrete, or newly exposed concrete surfaces after removal of form work, to form a temporary membrane which will retain sufficient moisture for effective curing to take place. Used for concreting generally but especially useful for large areas of concrete such as pavements, runways and bridge decks also for vertical or sloping surfaces as on towers, chimneys, canal linings, columns and beams, where water curing is difficult or unreliable.

Advantages

Single application Forms moisture barrier for whole of the curing period.

No other curing necessary Eliminates use of water, hessian or sand completely.

Reliable No risk of erratic or poor curing and ensures that cement hydrates efficiently.

Ensures hard-wearing surface Minimises risk of drying shrinkage, cracks and dusty surfaces.

Easy and safe spray application Non-toxic and non flammable.

Standards compliance

Curing efficiency Concure WB curing agent complies with the internationally recognised ASTM C309-90 standard.

Description

Concure WB is a white, low viscosity wax emulsion which incorporates a special alkali reactive emulsion breaking system. This system ensures that the emulsion breaks down to form a non-penetrating continuous film immediately upon contact with a cementitious surface. This impervious film prevents excessive water evaporation which in turn permits more efficient cement hydration, thus reducing shrinkage and increasing durability. Once formed, the membrane will remain on the concrete surface until eventually broken down and eroded by natural weathering. Where it is required to apply a further treatment to such concrete surface, it may be necessary to remove the membrane remaining after curing by wire brushing or other mechanical means. The use of curing membranes on internal floor slabs is generally to be avoided where additional surface finishes are to be applied. Concure WB is however ideal where the concrete surface of a floor slab is to be left as 'finished'.

Equipment

The preferred and generally used equipment is a knapsack sprayer of the type commonly used in horticulture or pest control. The ideal type is a knapsack sprayer with a capacity of between 5 -10 liters fitted with a 2.0m lance and adjustable spray nozzle.

Equipment cleaning Immediately after use the spray equipment should be cleaned out thoroughly with fresh water. If the spray nozzle becomes blocked with wax particles these can easily be removed using white spirit or similar fluid.

Product Details:

Minimum Order Quantity50 Litre
Packaging TypeDrum
Pack Size200 Ltr.
FormLiquid

Our firm is devotedly betrothed in presenting an extensive series of Corrosion Inhibitor Solution. These are made as per market demand using the advanced techniques. Inhibitors are substances or mixtures that in low concentration and in aggressive environment inhibit, prevent or minimize the corrosion.

Generally the mechanism of the inhibitor is one or more of three that are cited below:
  • The inhibitor is chemically adsorbed (chemisorption) on the surface of the metal and forms a protective thin film with inhibitor effect or by combination between inhibitor ions and metallic surface
  • The inhibitor leads a formation of a film by oxide protection of the base metal.
  • The inhibitor reacts with a potential corrosive component present in aqueous media and the product is a complex.
